Grail Found: NC BBQ at Burger Delite

My friend Ed is from Durham, NC. One day his shoulder was practically soaked with tears from me crying about how I missed real NC barbecue. It’s so horrible, I moaned. I can easily find great barbecue but it’s just not the same.
That’s when Ed spoke up and told me about Burger Delite, a place in Alexandria that has a lot of different things to choose from but most importantly has NC BBQ. It’s the real thing. Delicious, just a bit tangy, moist and tender. It was like heaven served up on a bun. I highly recommend it.
It even had a cute anthropomorphic pig statue. can it get any better?

I think it’s weird the pig is advertising Belgian waffles. Anything to keep patrons from pork, I guess.
