Chili at Whitlow’s

February 10, 2011 § 2 Comments

Whitlow’s on Wilson is a great neighborhood bar in Arlington’s Clarendon neighborhood. I had never had their chili until recently, when I stopped by for their usual happy hour beer specials and started feeling a little peckish. A bowl of chili was exactly what was needed. Their chili is wonderful. It’s not the same as Hard Times, which is almost a gourmet chili parlor. Whitlow’s chili is a plain yet very delicious mixture that hits on all cylinders. Nothing fancy here, just pure goodness. It had the perfect amount of beef, beans and some great toppings. It was a great way to warm up and went well with a happy hour discount beer.
