Puebla Platter at El Golfo

August 25, 2011 § Leave a comment

El Golfo in Takoma Park, MD is a Salvadorean restaurant with about 100 different types of deliciousness on their menu. Usually Beautiful Girlfriend and I get food to go from there but since she had a dine-in only coupon, we recently used their dining room, which was pleasant enough. The puebla platter comes with a chile relleno and a marinated skirt steak. The steak was slightly tangy and made of pure deliciousness and cooked to a tender perfection. I never thought a cow could taste like that.

Thank you, El Golfo, for introducing me to this delicacy and helping me retain my love of meat.
